Thermoelectric unit using the heat-pipe technology is an electrical device that can create or take away heat from the thermai insulated space. It uses a series-parallel connection of the thermocouples (1) working on the Peltier effect, through which flows the DC current controlled by the control unit (2). Thermocouples (1) are connected to the circuit board (3) and are mechanically mounted between the aluminum radiator (4) and the condenser heat-pipe (5) by means of mechanical parts - clips. Aluminum radiator (4) is for the indoor area, to the space with desired temperature, and condenser heat-pipe (5) is suitable for the outdoor area, for the area of the heat dissipation. Both types of radiators are in places of contact with the thermocouples (1) provided with thermal grease (6) for the best possible heat transfer. There is a thermal insulation (8), e. g. Polyurethane foam (PUR) between the hot and cold side of the aluminum radiator (4) and the condenser heat-pipe (5). The inner aluminum radiator (4) and the condenser heat-pipe (5) are blowed by fans (7), which improving the heat transfer to the ambient air. Heat-pipe technology effectively conducts heat to further places of the radiator, such as the heat conduction in the aluminum radiator. |
