The scoring tools are fixed to parallel shafts (19,23;20,24). The length of the grooves or pre-fold lines is adjustable by a pack of disc or plate shaped segments close together and supporting the scoring tools. Each shaft holds a cylindrical shell shaped segment (4,4') forming a second scoring tool. The one segment (4) is helical with a ridge (16), and the other segment (4') is helical with a groove (12), interlocking with it. Each of the two cylinder-shell shaped segments of the second scoring tool is joined on an axial end by a radial ridge (17,17') to a hub fixed to the shafts. |
