A sealed beam headlamp 1 is mounted within a synthetic plastics ring 4 which is adjustably supported in a housing 11 by screws 8 engaging internally threaded bosses 7 on the ring, the headlamp being inserted and retained within the ring by elastic deformation of a flange 3 at the front of the ring. The heads 9 of the screws are resiliently engaged with synthetic plastics sockets 10 on the housing. The headlamp is provided with centering lugs (6, Fig. 4, not shown), which engage abutments (5) on the ring. |
