<p>The profiled roller is for generating rib-shaped protuberances on reinforced concrete bar. The roller outer casing face is formed by a segment shaped groove, which has spaced recesses, corresponding to the rib profile to be generated. These recesses are individually formed one after the other in the unhardened piece to be formed by means of a stamping punch (5). After the stamping of the recesses, the basic roller (1) is hardened and finally, the segment-shaped groove (2) is ground over. The process is an alternative to grinding, milling or eroding out the hardened roller.</p> |
