The high-frequency coil can have connected to it various resistors, whether ohmic, inductive or capacitive, in order to damp the oscillator. An adapter is used to switch from inductive to capacitive initiators. A coil is connected to two electrodes designed as an air capacitor and is brought into the field of an ordinary inductive proximity switch. This inductive switch is converted to a capacitive switch as a result of the electrical field present at the capacitor. The adapter can be combined into a single structural unit as a capacitive proximity switch.
