<p>An automatic system is proposed for the transmission of documented information to a receiving station where it is displayed and then reproduced on paper as a permanent record. The document in the form of a clear foil with printed characters, is located in a closed unit where it is scanned and the information transmitted as electronic signals. The receiver station converts the signals to a form appropriate for display on a monitor, as a negative image. Photo-sensitive paper is used is used to obtain a permanent record.</p> |
