PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the light resistance of a color filter by forming a plasma polymerized film layer between coloring layers and electrode layer. CONSTITUTION:The coloring layers 2 of RGB (consisting of, for example, dyed resins such as gelatin or acryl) and a protective film 3 (consisting of for example, polyamide, acryl, etc.) are formed on a transparent substrate 1. The plasma polymerized film layer 4 and transparent electrode layer 5 are further provided on the protective film. The protective film may not be used in the case of forming the coloring layers by a method except a dyeing method, for example, printing method, photographic dry plate method, etc. The light resistance is not adversely affected in this case as well. The preferable film thickness is <=0.5mum at which the transmittance of light is not affected. |
