PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary operation of dehumidification, by equipping an air cooler to a car air conditioner, operating humidity and outside air temperature detectors through a dehumidification request switch, controlling cooling action of the air cooler in stages with a device in accordance with a signal of said humidity and outside air temperature detector and providing said device to said air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A digital computer 15 is programmed to periodically check a dehumidification request signal from a dehumidifier switch 11, if closing of the dehumidifier switch, a variable signal from an outside air temperature detector 12 and humidity detector 3 is compared with a predetermined reference value to decide whether an electromagnetic clutch 10 is connected or disengaged, and an on-off signal is generated to an output port, connected to an amplifier 16, to on-off turn a refrigerant evaporator 4. Accordingly, outside air temperature is lower than a reference value T1, and humidity is fully low, then operation of the evaporator 4 is suppressed, while outside air temperature is higher than a reference value T2, and humidity is higher than a reference value H2, then the evaporator 4 is operated and kept its operation till the humidity becomes smaller than a reference value H1. |
