A photograph typesetting machine consists of a movable projector(19), which moves according to the magnification of the lens; buttons(28-31) for changing the lens type; a memory circuit(27) for storing the command signal from the buttons; ALUs(23,26) for determining the lens type with the command signal and calculating the moving quantity of the projector, which is the half value of the corresponding magnification of the selected lens type; and a control circuit(24) for adjusting the relative position between the film and the projector with the calculated value from the ALUs.
