<p>PURPOSE:To generate warm air without using electricity by a method wherein low-temperature fluid and combustion gas are mixed and circulated by a fan connected directly to the output shaft of a Stirling engine. CONSTITUTION:The Stirling engine 2, accommodated in the casing 1 of the room heater, is provided with the heat energy of the combustion gas of a burner 3 in a first heat exchanger 7, is cooled in the second heat exchanger 8 by the fan 9 directly coupled to the output shaft by circulating air induced from an inducing port 10 while accommodated two pistons are operated to output the rotating energy. The high-temperature combustion gas, which heated the first heat exchanger 7, flows as shown by arrow signs 11 while the air, which cooled the second heat exchanger 8, flows as shown by the arrow signs 12 and is mixed with the combustion gas so as to obtain the warm air of comfortable temperature, thereafter, the mixed fluid flows out of the outflow port 13 of the casing 1. The Stirling engine generates a low noise accompanied by the driving thereof and, therefore, it is suitable for the use in a room and it may also be used upon power suspension.</p> |
