PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by providing an electromagnet which turns on and off depending upon the signal level of a range finder in interlocking with the stroke of a release member, and a member which performs specific motion according to whether the electromagnet is on or off. CONSTITUTION:The electromagnet 10 turns on and off depending upon the signal level of the range finder in interlocking with the 1st strobe of the release member 1, and a changeover lever 18 does not turn by the 2nd stroke of the release member when the electromagnet 10 is on and turns by the 2nd stroke of the release member when the electromagnet 10 is off. A focus adjusting member 5 is rotated and energized by the turning of a driving lever 21 where the changeover lever 18 engages by its rotation at the 3rd stroke of the release member.
