PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce apparatuses which are capable of intensive monitoring of the measurement results of various medical measuring instruments, which are flexibly adapted to the conditions of illnesses of at-home patients by equipping the measuring instruments, a remote monitoring means which drives the measuring instruments via a path and its interface means, and obtains the measurement results, etc. SOLUTION: A measuring instrument 12 is included separately in each of at-home equipment 11-1 to 11-n which are irstalled in a communication network. The software showing the control information to be supplied for the drive of the instrument 12 and the driving procedure are defined beforehand in a storage means 13 by each item of measurement. A communication interface means 14 forms a path to the desired one of equipment 11-1 to 11-N via the communication network. Then a remote monitoring means 15 applies the software defined in the means 13 in corresponding to the instrument 13 included in the desired at-home equipment and the desired item to be measured, and also drives the instrument 12 via the means 14 and the path that is formed by the means 14 in order to obtain measurement results. |
