PURPOSE:To increase the high speed running property and the riding comfortability, by placing, between a carcass cord layer and a tread, two steel belt reinforcing layers wherein the cords are extended in opposite directions to each other and a fiber cord reinforcing layer whose lateral opposite ends are folded over a specified width. CONSTITUTION:A carcass cord layer 4 wherein the angle of the cords with the circumferential direction of the tire is 70-90 deg. is placed between a pair of left and right bead sections 3, and two steel belt reinforcing layers 5u, 5d wherein the cord angles are respectively 15-30 deg. and 150-165 deg. and are crossed each other are positioned between the layer 4 and the tread 1. A fiber cord reinforcing layer 7 is provided on the tread side of the upper reinforcing layer 5u. The cord angle of the fiber cord reinforcing layer 7 with the circumferential direction of the tire should be 10-30 deg. when measured from the side where the angle of the steel cord of the reinforcing layer 5u with the circumferential direction of the tire is acute, and the lateral opposite end sections are folded with the folded width being 10% or more of the total width after folded. |
