PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a variable magnifying image of a desired scale factor regardless of the size of a pixel block of a base image by performing variable magnifying of block image information with a block row variable magnifying rate and a block column variable magnifying rate and spatially combining images of each pixel block after variable magnification. SOLUTION: A 1st small row variable magnifying rate A1 and a 2nd large row variable magnifying rate A2 are calculated from a row variable magnifying rate A and a 1st small column variable magnifying rate B1 and a 2nd large column variable magnifying rate B2 are calculated from a column variable magnifying rate B. In each block, either of the rates A1 and A2 is made a block raw variable magnifying rate (a) in a row direction and either of the rates B1 and B2 is made a block column variable magnifying (b) in a column direction. The image data of a base block undergo variable magnifying with the selected rates (a) and (b) to each block and a variable magnifying image that microscopically undergoes variable magnifying with the rates A and B is acquired by spatially combing them. Thereby, it is possible to acquire a desired variable magnified image regardless of the block size of the base block and to increase throughput if a small block size is taken. |
