PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the horizontal level of an eave soffit and simplify the fitting work by providing an extended part stretched downward from a house frame side and made fixable to the house frame positioned lower than the eave soffit body, in the eave soffit body. SOLUTION: A tabular eave soffit body 20 and an extended part 30 made fixable to a house frame 40 are provided in an eave soffit 10. A plurality of vertically piercing ventilation holes 34 are formed at a specified interval in the extended part 30. A substrate member 45 is fixed to the underface side of a roof panel 71 with screws and the upper face of the end of the eave soffit body 20 is fixed through fastening members 47 for the substrate member. The fitting position of the eave soffit body 20 is decided and the extended part 30 is fixed to the house frame 40 by fixing members 48 for extension. Finally, furring strips 60 are fixed to the external face of a wall panel 41 and external wall decoration boards 50 are fixed. A plurality of L-shaped support tools made of a metallic material having a nearly L-shaped section may be used for the extended part 30. In this way, the fitting work at a construction site can be simplified, and transportation and storage can be facilitated. |
