PURPOSE:To improve the operational stability while correcting the delay in clock signals on clock lines and distortion of wave forms without expanding the chip space by a method wherein clock buffers exceeding two each are dispersedly arranged on the chip. CONSTITUTION:Clock buffers 20 are arranged near the central parts of four sides of a chip10 to input original signals 2 through the intermediary of an original clock signal line 25. Any two phase clock signals phi, -phi outputted from each clock buffer 20 are transmitted to a semiconductor device such as a transistor etc. arranged on a chip 10 through the intermediary of a clock line 30 for phi and another clock line 40 fo 0phi. In such a constitution, the electri cally fartherst points on the clock lines seen from clock buffers 20 are located in almost middle parts of the clock lines 30, 40 substantially cutting down the length of clock lines 30, 40 almost by half. |
