PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a double-sided image forming device capable of obtaining excellent images so that a front surface image and a back surface image on recording paper are always homogenized by processing while lowering γ in a 2nd stage in the case of performing multilevel recording than in the case of performing binary recording. SOLUTION: By using an image forming method on a front surface or a back surface, a 1st transfer means is actuated to form a color toner image on the front surface of a transfer material, and a 2nd transfer means is actuated to form the color toner image on the back surface of the transfer material. Then, the binary recording and the multilevel recording are switched to form the image in the double-sided image forming device. When the binary recording or the multilevel recording is switched, a control part B10 accesses a multilevel/ binary correction table B31B according to multilevel/binary switching information B31A, whereby γcorrection is performed. γ in the 2nd stage is lowered in the case of performing the multilevel recording than in the case of performing the binary recording. Whichever recording is selected, the excellent image quality so that the front surface image and the back surface image have the same image quality is obtained. |
