Although the majority of the submitted designs are for new engines, several proposals are intended for OHV - Pushrod motors; while in Europe and Japan these engines have almost disappeared from passenger automobiles, they are still going strong on this Continent and are represented not only by vehicles coming off the assembly lines but also in the very strong after-market segment. In the latter, several companies offer complete cylinder heads - to improve the engine's performance - an avenue, which Attain may want to pursue.
