PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form dot spacers simply by providing on a base material a thermal transfer layer containing as a mandatory component an epoxy acrylate and a photo polymerization initiator having a glass transition point or melting point being in a specific temperature range. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer layer has as a mandatory component an epoxy acrylate and a photo polymerization initiator having a glass transition point or melting point of 50-120 deg.C, and contains a coloring agent as required. A thermal transfer layer having the epoxy acrylate as a vehicle has a fine transferring property, and images obtained by being thermally transferred on the image receiving body are cured through irradiation of UV rays, so that images have a high heat resistance, antiabrasion, solvent resistivity, or the like. If, by the use of this thermal transfer material, transfer is implemented at dot unit by a printer equipped with a thermal head preferably, dot spacers are formed readily; moreover obtained dot spacers have high functions. |
