PURPOSE:To increase the figure painting-out speed by simultaneously drawing MXN-number of pixels at the time of drawing and painting out a polygon. CONSTITUTION:The pixel address of a display memory 3 is expressed with X and Y coordinates; and when a rectangle will be drawn, X and Y coordinates of the start point in each row are set to an address register 4 from a CPU though a selector 5. The X coordinate of the end point in each row is set to an end address register 1, and pixel data to be drawn on the display memory 3 is set to a data register 7 from the CPU. In this case, continuous M-number of pixels (M is a natural number equal to or larger than 2) in the transverse direction and continuous N-number of pixels (N is a natural number equal to or larger than 2) in the longitudinal direction on the display memory 3 are simultaneously drawn. Thus, the figure is painted out at high speed. |
