PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate the objects and to improve the vertual reality feeling. SOLUTION: An image picked up by a CCD camera is fetched, and the fetched image is mapped to the marker objects 23, 25. The depth perception of the fetched image is corrected in accordance with whether the marker object is far-off or close. When the marker object is far-off, the depth perception is corrected so that the image is looked as if it is located this side in comparison with the real position. By changing the scaling ratio of the marker object, the depth perception is corrected. The image on which the marker object is looked as if it is located this side with respect to a shielded object, is produced, even when the marker object 31 is located at the depth side of the shielded object 32. By increasing the priority order of the marker object 31 in the hidden- surface erase, the marker object can be looked as if it is located this side with respect to the shielded object 32. |
