PURPOSE:To eliminate the lowering of heating capacity due to a lack of coolant, by separating off an auxiliary radiator as a heat-exchanger corresponding to a conventional heat-exchanger located outside of the passenger's compartment, from a coolant pipe line and by connecting the same with a hot water system so that coolant is prevented from being reserved in the auxiliary radiator during heating operation. CONSTITUTION:During cooling cycle, gas phase coolant having a high temperature and a high pressure, and compressed and discharged by a coolant compressor 1 flows into a hot water heat-exchanger 8 through a 4-way selector valve 3. Further, cooled and liquefied coolant flows into a receiver 7 through a check valve 13, and liquefied coolant alone flows into a passenger's compartment side heat-exchanger 4 through a coolant expansion valve 9. Further during cooling operation a water valve 24 is closed while a water valve 27 is opened to water valve 24 is closed while a water valve 27 is opened to operate a water pump 23. Thereby engine cooling water is circulated between the hot water heat-exchanger 8 and an auxiliary radiator 25 so that the water is subjected to heat-exchange with air from a fan 20 and is therefore cooled down. That is, the heat radiation in the heat-exchanger 8 is carried out in the auxiliary radiator 25 through the engine cooling water. |
