PURPOSE:To provide a hot water feeding device which enables the feed of a large quantity of hot water, heated by a hot water feeder, to a bath tub in a short time through effective utilization of the direct pressure of city water, in conformity with city water legislation as the reverse flow of water in a bath tub to a city water pipe is prevented from occurring, and has a hot water feeder the height position of which is freely designed and executed based on the bath tub. CONSTITUTION:Inflow water through a city water pipe 8 and a water feed passage 7 is heated by a heat-exchanger 6 for the feed of hot water to produce hot water, which is fed through a feed hot water passage 3. A reverse flow preventing valve 45 having pressure cushioning function and check performance, an automatic hot water feed valve 4 opened and closed to control the feed of hot water, and water receiving valve 53 are closed by means of a given water receiving amount to cut off an open air release port 72 therefrom. Hot water is fed in a bath tub 17 by means of the feed water pressure of the city water pipe 8 through a hopper 46 for releasing a water receiving valve 53 during the stop of the passage of water to open the hot water feed passage 3, a reverse flow preventing valve 62, a venturi 47 to recover leakage through the water receiving valve 53 by means of a drainage passage 68, and a reverse low preventing valve 69 of the drainage passage 68 after the feed of it through a circulating passage 18. Even when a head difference H1 is produced, the reverse flow of bath tub water is prevented by means of reverse flow preventing valves 62 and 68. |
