<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a device by arranging each axis center of the rotary bodies such as a worm wheel and a pinion so as to cross at right angle with an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:The lower half part of a pinion 30 is insertion-arranged coaxially in the recessed part of a worm wheel 20, and the pinion 30 is revolved by receiving a turning moment from the worm wheel 20 through the contact of the contact part for driving the worm wheel 20, with the contact part for the following drive of the pinion 30, accompanied with the revolution of the worm wheel 20. Further, a rack part 41 having a tooth part meshed with the tooth part of the pinion 30 is installed at one edge part of an output shaft 40, and the guide groove 43 of the rack part 41 is engaged in slidable manner with the guide rail 45 of a case 10, and the output shaft 40 is driven toward a shift shaft parallel to the motor shaft of a motor 11, accompanied with the revolution of the pinion 30, and a latch mechanism 2 for door lock is operated at the other edge position of the output shaft 40. Accordingly, the diameter direction of a rotary body coincides with the extension direction of the flat space inside the door of an automobile, and the reduction of thickness can be realized independently of the diameter of the worm wheel.</p> |
