PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic measuring device that offers spatially well- resolved images significantly quickly. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic measuring device for use in an ultrasonic system for imaging comprises a carrier main body 2 adapted to rotate or swing about its rotational axis A and a plurality of transducer elements 3 arrayed on this carrier main body 2 to irradiate or receive ultrasonic signals. At least two of these transducer elements 3 are displaced from each other in relation to the circumferential direction and axial direction defined by the rotational axis A of the carrier main body 2.
