PURPOSE:To utilize the data of the accurate total time of printing operation for maintenance work such as the replacement of an abraded part by storing and controlling the data to print the same. CONSTITUTION:A receiving interface 1 receives data from a host and a printing control means 41 analyzes the data to control a printing mechanism 3 to perform printing. The printing control means 41 issues a command for a timer means 42 to measure a printing operation time during printing and a non-volatile read/write memory means 43 adds the printing operation time measured by the timer means 42 and the total time of printing operation prior to this to store the added value. When the switch push down data of an operation switch panel 2 coincides with the predetermined combination of push-down switches when a power supply is closed, the printing control means 41 obtains the data of the total time of printing operation from the non-volatile read/write memory means 43 and controls the printing mechanisms 3 to print the total time of printing operation. |
