A process for damping vibrations of a textile machine creel frame, including sliding damping of vibrations of a creel frame, replaced at regular intervals by the fixed connection of the creel frame with the machine frame, whereas it is preferable if the fixed connection of the creel frame moves with the machine frame in a time interval of 0.1 s to 200 s and the sliding connection at an interval of 0.01 s to 10 s.
