<p>PURPOSE: To reduce such inconvenience as the use range of an applicable receiving section is restricted by setting up the classify start position and classify end position of an output paper according to a receiving position indicating command for indicating the classify start position and classify end position of the output paper. CONSTITUTION: When receiving bin indicating command (receiving position indicating order) 31, an external apparatus controlling CPU 41 converts the command 31 into a control signal 43 and transmits it to a sorter control CPU 42. When receiving the control signal 43, CPU 42 takes in information from paper sensors 25-1-25-12 in each bin and transmits empty bin information 44 to CPU 41, which converts the empty bin information 44 into a sorter status signal 32 and transmits it to computers 13, 14 or 15. The driver hafts of the computers 13, 14 or 15 are assembled in a printer driver command 33, and transmits it to the CPU 41 of a copying machine body 12 again. When receiving a printer driver command 33, CPU 41 transmits a new control signal 43 to CPU 42.</p> |
