<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a stable operation of a feeding valve not affected by engine vibration by forming a control chamber communicating with various types of nozzles to which fuel is fed through the feeding valve with a control diaphragm so as to control the feeding valve with the control diaphragm through a control lever. SOLUTION: A diaphragm carburetor 1 of an internal combustion engine is so formed that a start flap 5 and a throttle flap 6 are disposed longitudinally in the direction of air flow, and a main nozzle 10 is open in a verturi district and an idling nozzle 9 is open in a district behind the throttle flap 6. Each of the nozzles 9 and 10 is connected to a control chamber 13 defined by a control diaphragm 16, and fuel is supplied to the control chamber 13 through a feed pipe 24 having a feed valve 38. The feed valve 38 is operated through a control lever 40 by the diaphragm 16 operatively associated with fuel supply, and the feed valve 38 is formed by providing a valve seat 36 operated in association with a valve 37 which is installed on the control lever 40 at the end of the feed pipe 24 on the control chamber 13 side.</p> |
