PURPOSE:To realize natural conversation by referring to an input format forecast list to analyze input information in the forecast analysis mode only when it cannot be analyzed in the normal analysis mode. CONSTITUTION:This man-machine interface consists of an input part 1, an input interpreting part 2, a conversation control part 3, a task processing part 4, a response generating part 5, and an output part 6. If an input format of input information can be forecasted in accordance with a generated system response, the response generating part 4 generates preliminarily an input format forecast list and gives it to the input interpreting part 2. The input interpreting part 2 refers to this list to interpret input information including ambiguity. If the analysis processing of input information in the normal analysis mode fails, the analysis processing in the forecast analysis mode is performed. Thus, a user can input freely information without being restrained by the system response, and the conversational performance is improved. |
