PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring an acoustic characteristic at a listening position to a desired characteristic, while listening an original sound signal such as a voice and a sound (including a frequency component not in existence tentatively) or allowing a person to hear the original sound signal. SOLUTION: An input s(n) is fed to a loudspeaker 3 and a reference signal generating filter 4 through a convolver 2, an output y(n) of a microphone 6 at a listening position is fed to an adaptive filter 5, which is controlled so that an error (e) between its output c(n) and the output of the filter 4 is minimized. When this control converges, its characteristic are set to the convolver 2. In this case, a delay device 1 is connected in parallel with the convolver 2 and a delay device 7 is connected in parallel with the filter 5, and the delay of the delay devices 1, 7 is set equal to that of the filter 5. |
