PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify and retrieve easily specific printed matter from a plurality of pieces of printed matter by a method wherein a printing data and communication information which are transmitted via a network are analyzed and edited, and the communication information is printed on another paper different from the printed matter to be outputted as a surface of the printed matter. SOLUTION: In an image recorder system wherein a plurality of users hold a printer in common via a host, communication information and a printing data which are transmitted from each user are transmitted to the host 2, and the host 2 transmits necessary communication information, printing data, etc., to the printer 3. Such the communication information is stored in a communication information receiving part 5 and a printing data receiving part 6. Then, the stored communication information is transmitted to a communication information analyzing and editing part 8, and the communication information is analyzed and edited therein. Further, a printing data output part 12 transmits the data stored in a communication information storing part 10 and a printing data storing part 11 to a printing mechanism, and outputs paper on which a management number of the user or the like are printed as a cover of the printed matter. |
