PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover an abnormal place easily by indicating to an indication part after checking the existence/absence of the abnormality of an inspection place at the prescribed switch operation time, in a control communication means by which ID code read through an antenna is compared with a prescribed ID code and an engine is started. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a key 2 in which IC chip (transponder element) 1 for memorizing ID code is built, an antenna 3, a receiver 4 which is a control communication means for sending/receiving between the IC chip 1 through this antenna 3 and ECCS 5. In the receiver 4, a control circuit 11 communicates with IC chip 1, when the key 2 is inserted in a key cylinder 8 and the key switch 7 is turned to an accessory position. When ON/OFF of ignition is repeated and a self diagnosis mode is started, a green LED 12 is turned on and an inspection is carried out. When an inspection result is NO, the green LED 12 is turned off and a red LED 13 is turned on and off in response to an abnormal place. |
