摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens having excellent physical and chemical stability and resistance against YAG laser beam and excellent mechanical strength of a supporting part. SOLUTION: The effective optical part consists of three-dimensional crosslinked polymethyl methacrylate having such a crosslinked structure that the polymethyl methacrylate is not dissolved in an org. solvent which dissolves a linear polymethyl methacrylate but is swollen when it is dipped in this org. solvent and has 45-70% solvent content. The peripheral and supporting part for the effective optical part consists of a three-dimensional crosslinked polymethyl methacrylate which is prepared by roll forming a same three- dimensional crosslinked polymethyl methacrylate as the three-dimensional crosslinked polymethyl methacrylate which constitutes the effective optical part to obtain 45-70% compression rate.
