The wall cooler has a box-shaped housing with an upper suction opening and a lower outlet opening in the wall facing the switch box. The fan is mounted behind the suction opening. The heat exchanger is mounted below the fan and above the outlet opening at an acute angle to the wall. The lamellae (18) of the heat exchanger (17) are set at an acute angle to the floor (13) of the housing (10) and slope down towards the wall (20) facing away from the switch box. The floor of the housing has a condensate outlet (14).
