<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alter printing time according to the size of a transfer sheet. SOLUTION: In multitransfer on a transfer sheet, the length of a transfer- sheet carrying path is switched by controlling a push roller 39 by means of a carrying-path control part so that a distance required for carrying is altered according to the size of the transfer sheet, thereby pushing in a transfer belt 31, stretched by roller members, by means of the push roller 39. The distance required for carrying the transfer sheet is shortened in such a manner that in the passing area of the root of the bypass part 40 of the transfer belt pushed in by the push roller 39, the transfer sheet gripped by a gripper situated at the rear is passed to a gripper attached to the transfer belt and situated at the front.</p> |
