The appts. to move a bobbin winding machine, at a spinning plant and especially where the winders are in a row along the spinning stations, has a movable carrier chassis (10). It has a ramp (6) with a width at least as large as the width of an end side of the bobbin winder. A pull system (7) is at the chassis (10), for the leading end side (11) of the bobbin winder to be drawn on to the ramp (6). The ramp (6) is pitched at a min. angle of 30 deg to the horizontal.
