PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tracking error signal and an information signal from largely fluctuating due to an applying condition of dyestuff by layering a metallic reflected layer, a high polymer dielectric layer, a recording layer containing the dyestuff and a 2nd substrate in turn on a 1st substrate having a guide groove for the purpose of tracking a laser beam and performing recording/ reproducing of information from the side of the 2nd substrate. SOLUTION: The metallic reflecting layer 11, the high polymer dielectric layer 12, the recording layer 13 containing the dyestuff and the 2nd substrate 14 are formed on the 1st substrate 10 formed previously with prepits and pregrooves, and this medium is recorded/reproduced from the side of the recording layer 13. Main reflection from the prepits and the pregrooves is performed on a boudary surface between the high polymer dielectric layer 12 and the reflecting layer 11, and the shapes of the prepits and the pregrooves of the 1st substrate 10 are mostly directly reflected in the shapes of the prepits and the pregrooves after setting the reflecting layer 11 without being so influenced by a recess d3. Consequently, the jroductivity can be enhanced without detriment to the easiness of film formation in a spin coating method. |
