PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box that prevents articles from dropping and is excellent in serviceability. SOLUTION: A door 3 rotating and sliding around a box 1 so that it can open and close an opening 2a in the top of the box 1 is provided. A sheet 4 is extended between one side edge of the opening 2a and one end of the door 3 and is constantly exerted with tension. The opening 2a is provided in an upper panel 2 at the top of the box 1, and a sheet winding mechanism 11 is provided on the upper panel 2. The sheet 4 is wound from one end and put into the sheet winding mechanism 11 and is secured to one end of the door 3 at the other end. The sheet winding mechanism 11 includes a winding shaft 12 and a spring member which activates the winding shaft 12 in the winding direction. |
