The system has an analogue input image signal containing signal courses, signs and figures with intensity data. The analogue signal is converted into image data (2) by an ADC (10). Subtracted image data (3) are obtained by subtracting a set value from an intensity of the stored image data (7) and are compared with the image data. The image data with the stronger intensity can be selected using a switch (S2), to obtain bright image data (6).
