<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for judging mechanically without manual help whether of not a specimen in a specimen container is coagulated or not. SOLUTION: A test tube 11 is turned from a vertical hold state by approximately 120-130 deg. within a vertical plane, so that a blood 12 in the test tube 11 is moved inside the test tube 11. At this time, an image of the blood 12 is picked up by a camera 14 and taken into a control device 16. The taken image is processed by a thres holding means. The presence/absence of a coagulation in the blood 12 is judged from the result by a coagulated test body judgment means. Whether of not the blood 12 stored in the test tube 11 is coagulated can be correctly, quickly and automatically judged not depending on the human sense of sight.</p> |
