<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely avoid the operation of a data set which is not authenticated in a standard mass production controller by inspecting the contents of a memory cell in a programmable memory, processing a program when the contents adopt a first value and executing another inspection in a case except it. SOLUTION: The contents of the memory cell in the programmable memory 116 are read in the first of a program processing. Then, it is inspected whether or not the contents of the memory cell indicate that the controller is the adaptive one. When the contents of the memory cell adopt the first value, the controller is adopted as the adaptive one. In this case, the program stored in a memory 114 and data are executed without executing another inspection. When the second value indicating that the controller is the standard mass production one is adopted as against it, at least one independent inspection is executed. In this inspection, it is inspected whether the data set which is authenticated is filed in a re-writing possible memory or not.</p> |
