The invention concerns a tasting and drinking glass in particular isothermal enabling tasting as well as drinking beverages and other food products in optimal conditions. Said tasting and drinking glass (1) comprises an outer cup (2) mounted on a stem (4) and an inner cup (3) having on the periphery of its external surface a shoulder (9) resting on the outer cup (2) upper edge to form a joining line (16), a free space (17a) being provided between the two cups. The invention is characterised in that the height (H) between the shoulder (9) and the inner cup (3) bottom (13) is strictly smaller than the outer cup (2) height (h) such that the inner (3) and outer (2) cups have as only contact points said joining line (16). The inner cup (3) bottom comprises bulges (14) to promote the release of aromas and ethers. Moreover, the cups (2, 3) have shapes and dimensions designed to obtain maximum aromatic and gustatory expression.
