PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a card processor, an automatic ticket examination device and a card processing method capable of enhancing ticket examination processing efficiency per unit time by shortening length of a carrier path on which a card like a ticket medium, etc., is transported and simultaneously shortening ticket examination processing time. SOLUTION: A first ticket medium for which a printing processing is required is transported at a first carrier speed when the ticket medium passes through a reading head 48. In this case, a main carrier path 32 is blocked and transportation of the first ticket medium is stopped by a first stopper S1. During this, drive of a main motor 74 is controlled and the carrier speed at the main carrier path 32 is reduced to second carrier speed which is slower than the first carrier speed and suitable for the printing processing. And stop of the transportation of the first ticket medium by the first stopper S1 is released and the first ticket medium is transported at the second carrier speed. The printing processing is performed for the first ticket medium which is transported at the second carrier speed by a thermal head 56. |
