ELIMINATION METHOD OF CHLORIDE COMPONENT CONTAINED IN MANGANESE OXIDE

PURPOSE: The process of eliminating a chloride component in a manganese oxide powder is provided which reduces the chloride component less than 0.1wt.% in a simple and time-saving way. CONSTITUTION: The process is characterized the following steps:Putting the manganese oxide including massive chlorides made from manganese chloride solution inside a furnace(1); Adjusting the amount of injected water through a nozzle(2) inside the furnace; Vaporizing the injected water to react with chlorides in the powder and then defluxing the generated hydrogen chloride gas to the upper part of the furnace; and Flowing a certain amount of air for oxidation reaction of chlorides and quick elimination of the generated hydrogen chloride gas.
