PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to prevent to unexpectedly close a door for removing the inconvenience to accept and/or to withdraw the washing inside a spin basket by holding the door by one hand of a user. CONSTITUTION: The washing machine has: a casing(1) having a circular front opening(3) formed for incoming and outcoming of the washing in the front center area; and the circular door gasket(8) combined in the front opening. If the door is pulled frontward for withdrawing and/or accepting the washing, the door is opened by a hinge pin(49), a shaft, arranged downward against a vertical center line(43). At that time, the opening movement smoothly operates by forming a moving center line(45) of the door(7) downward against a horizontal center line(41) of the front opening(3), however, the movement toward the direction to cut the front opening(3) is prevented by the operation of the gravity. |
