The invention relates to novel analytic substrates of general formula (I), wherein R1; R2 and R3 are the same or differ from one another and are R4, CH2-ONO2, CH2-OR5, CH2-X, COOR5, COX, CH2-COOR5, or CH2-COX, whereby at least one of the substituents R1 to R3 is R4; R4 represents CHO; R5 represents H or a straight chain or branched C1 to C6 alkyl radical and X represents a halogen. The inventive substrates and agents can be used, in particular, in biochemical and pharmacological analyses or as medicaments.
