<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of providing various functions without the need for mounting a storage means of a large capacity and to provide an information processing system employing the information processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The processing apparatus 1 transfers the information of a processing object to a storage device 2, wherein the information is stored in a share folder 21. Further, an operating menu information generating section 12 generates operating menu information to display an operating menu required for operating the information and stores the operating menu information to the share folder 21 of the storage device 2. When the information is operated, a browser 31 of an instruction apparatus 3 displays the operating menu information and a user selects contents of the operation and instructs its execution. The instruction of the operation is fed to the processing apparatus 1 according to access information in the operating menu information.
