The outer part (11) of the joint includes a straight-cylinder jacket part (12) with inner cylindrical cavity containing lengthwise tracks (20) to engage with torque transmission elements (22). A closing cover (13) is welded to the jacket part of the inner cylindrical cavity. It is welded by a seam (18) to the jacket part and the flange part (16).
