DUALIZATION METHOD OF A.R.P. SERVER

PURPOSE: A dualization method of an ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) server is provided to dualize the ARP server for mapping a unique address and an ATM address for discriminating each node of an IEEE1394 network. CONSTITUTION: A dualization method of an ARP server includes the following steps. Address information is shared by selecting a certain SOHO-network terminal from SOHO-network terminals provided at each of a plurality of networks and transmits address information of terminals stored by the server to the selected SOHO-network terminal in the first step. The address information required for communication with the other party is obtained from the selected SOHO-network terminal in the case that a fault occurs to the server in the second step.
